Student Program
Ready to learn how to skydive on your own? Our Gradual Freefall Program is designed to take you from first-timer to licensed solo jumper step by step. Start with a First Jump Course + your first skydive for $340 (all gear, taxes, and fees included).
On day one, you’ll complete morning ground school, then make your first jump from 3,500 ft, with your parachute deployed for you and guided radio assistance for landing.
Each jump after that adds a new skill and increased altitude, progressing until you’re exiting at 10,000 ft. Additional jumps are $135 each until you earn your CSPA solo license.
We also provide personalized coaching to help you advance through any license level at your own pace.
FAQ
What should I wear?
The same rules apply for both Tandems and Student jumpers. Close toed shoes that can’t fall off your feet are mandatory. Longer pants or shorts are recommended. Bring layers, it is much colder at altitude than it is on the ground.
Can I get a video of my tandem?
Yes we do offer video packages starting at $120.00.
How does the student program work?
The First Jump Course is generally held on Saturday mornings at 9 am. You will be in the classroom portion of the course for approximately 4.5 hours depending on the size of your group. After the classroom portion is finished you will do your first jump.
In the Gradual Free Fall (GFF) program, our instructors deploy your parachute for you. You will start at 3,500 ft above ground level, the instructor will open your parachute for you, and another instructor will guide you to the ground to land safely over a 1-way radio.
From there with each jump we will add a new skill, like awareness, practice pulls, and eventually delays.
How long does it take to get my Solo license, and how much will it cost?
The amount of time it takes is heavily dependent on you. If you come out consistently and learn quickly it will take less time and cost less money. It usually takes anywhere from 15-25 jumps to be solo certified. After your FJC ($340.00), student jumps will cost $135.00 per jump.
What can I do with my solo license?
A CSPA Solo license permits you to jump by yourself at any CSPA regulated drop zone in Canada.
What comes after my solo license?
After your solo license, you can begin working towards your CSPA A license. There is a set of skills that must be completed in order to attain this license. Follow the link below to see more specific information about license requirements.
